2025 Westchester open
The Westchester TTC (Table Tennis Club) Monthly Open is a competitive table tennis tournament in New York. It’s a popular event that draws players of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced competitors, from the tri-state area and across the East Coast. These open tournaments take place on the last weekend of each month, featuring various skill-level divisions so that participants can compete against others of similar abilities.
This weekend event typically featured 18 categories, including Open Singles , U2500, U2350, U2200, U2050, U2000, U1900, U1750, U1600, U1450, U1300, U1150, U1000, U850, 12 & Under, Over 40 & 1800, Handicap, and Doubles U3400. It’s a great opportunity for players to improve their game, meet other enthusiasts, and earn rankings or cash prizes.
On January 25-26, BTT members, Rassi Zhou, Aaron Li, Angela Li, Enya Li, Ishan Rangdal, David Su & Emma Yang participated in January Open at Westchester TTC. A total of 266 players competed in this monthly tournament, including over 20 players with USATT ratings above 2300.
Ishan advanced to the Top 16 in U2050 (47 players) and Top 8 in U2200 (64 players); Angela advanced to the Top 8 in 12 & Under (19 players), then made to semifinal in U1150 (30 players) and U1000 (39 players); Aaron made to semifinal in U2050 (47 players); Emma made to semifinal in U2200 (64 players).
